- If you book an appointment, keep it or cancel it.
- Take a friend or relative with you if necessary.
- Tell the Receptionist at the time of booking your appointment if you need more time to speak to the Doctor, she may be able to arrange this.
- Find out how your Practice deals with complaints.
- Know how to contact the out of hours service – Dial 111.
- Register with the NHS App.

- Offer advice about a problem if you are not sure what is causing it
