Pregnancy, Antenatal and Midwifery services
To make sure you have access to the right care from day one, please register your pregnancy with Oxford Hospitals and our Community Midwives will contact you. There is no need to speak to your GP first unless you are worried about your pregnancy.

Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU)
The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) is a community service which cares for women who are in the early stages of pregnancy and experiencing pain, bleeding or other problems relating to their pregnancy. If heavily bleeding please attend your nearest Accident and Emergency Department.
