NHS Research Update with Special Guest Speaker

Sunday, 23rd February 2025 at Marcham Road Health Centre

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is holding an event focusing on the medical research that Marcham Road Health Centre is involved in.

If you are a patient of Marcham Road Health Centre, you are cordially invited to attend.

Speakers:

  • Carley Moore, Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Carley will present results and outcomes from the research the practice has been involved in. She will also share the plans for further research projects.
  • Guest speaker, Dr. Fiona Tierney, Postdoctoral Researcher, Oxford Brookes University. Dr Tierney is carrying out research into sleep.  She will provide some information on sleep processes and some of the tools we can use to manage our own sleep and would like to listen to your thoughts and questions about sleep to help guide future research priorities in this area.
  • A practice patient who has volunteered to participate in an NHS research programme.

The event will take place in the ground floor waiting room. Doors will open at 10.45am and the session will conclude at 12.30pm.

Important Information:

Attendance is limited to no more than 30 persons who must be patients of the practice.
