How to book an Appointment or make an Administration Request

What’s happening / What systems are being replaced:

Responding to feedback from our patients about our current online appointment system being not very user friendly, we have decided to change the system to one that we hope will be a lot easier to navigate.

In our ongoing effort to improve your experience, we will be transitioning to a new system called Blinx PACO GP. This will allow you to explain your problem in your own words as well as the option to upload photos.

On August 7th, we will be switching from our current system to Blinx PACO GP.

What are the major changes for you as patients?

  • All patients can use the system: Yes, patients of any age can now use our online services, including under 16s.
  • Login Process:  You can log in using your NHS number and Date of Birth. Blinx PACO GP will then send you a 6 six-digit code to complete your login process.
  • Online Requests: Our online requests will now come through Blinx’s Digital Front Door (DFD). Below you can see a video explanation of how to access and request services through the DFD
  • Find your NHS Number – You will need your NHS number for the new system. You can locate it in your NHS account or through the dedicated service available via the link below – Find your NHS number – NHS (www.nhs.uk).
