Patient Choice

You have the right to be offered choice when a GP refers you to a hospital for specialist services. Sometimes, the GP may need to refer you to a triage service first to assess which type service is most appropriate for you. In this case, it will be the triage service who will offer your choice if they decide to refer you on to a hospital specialist.
